Detroit Become Human
To celebrate the launch of the major AAA new IP, we were tasked with designing the Special Edition packaging for Detroit: Become Human. After developing multiple concepts we alighted on ‘Your New Android’.
Early concepts maintained the core brief of luxury, but investigated fruther themes of becoming human, and more specifically what lies beneath the skin.
In the same vein as luxury packaging for other high-end tech purchases, this is your reward for purchasing a luxury high-end product. Reinforcing your decision and immersing the player in the world of Detroit from the very moment of unboxing.
To bring the overall concept of 'Your new android' to life, each layer of the box revealed new information about the game, as well as metaphorically representing the multiple layers of each playable character in the game.
